Course Overview
Welcome to the the first ever Latin American Cultural Centre in Canberra.
A hub for Latin American Culture that supports all sorts of groups that are already promoting the culture by giving them a space where they can thrive. We are the home of Spanish classes, Tango, Bachata, Salsa, Zumba dance lessons. Mexican cooking workshops and Handcraft markets. Here you can watch Latin American films and find books. Latin American artists use the space to showcase their works. The Spanish Pioneros scouts also meet here to do their fun activities. This is a space for the older generation to gather and for the young to celebrate fiestas.
The centre is much more than just bricks and mortar, it is a place full of life, a space where community comes together to share and learn. A project that transcends current generations by becoming part of the fabric of our society where tolerance and diversity is valued and cherised.
