Ositos E.L.E. (Spanish as a foreign language) are kids all ages that are eager to learn but have limited or no contact with Spanish at home. We believe that all children can quickly absorb two languages without any problems and they can also easily transfer their developing communication skills from one language to the other.
Kids receive a 45 minute lesson once a week during 10 consecutive weeks (modules) during the school term.
Our approach involves listening, speaking, singing, playing, colouring in, crafts, hand gestures or hand movements, facial expression, photos and pictures.
We use picture charts to show kids objects and their names in Spanish and in that way help expand their vocabulary.
Throughout the 10 weeks module children become acquainted with fun characters that stimulate their imagination and teach them Spanish at the same time.
Games and songs in Spanish make the classes fun and interesting. The most important thing of course is that the kids enjoy themselves while inmersed in the language and its culture.
One module includes 10 classes of 45 minutes each. Classes take place during the school term. Currently held on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm.
